multiple device business setup

is it possible to set up a group on my mac, and a have a user from another mac be in that group? I have a very small business, and want to have my admin-assistant have her own MacBook so she can work from home. what's the best way to set up my own device and hers so we can have access to all or some of the same files for the business?
