my phone screen had frozen. Tried the usual tried the usual buttons to turn off phone.
that has gone up but still frozen.
can neither slide to power off or
use (x) cancel button.

tried this so many times before reaching out, without success. Called Apple Support, suggested the same. Without success. Finally set up an appointment at an Apple Store W London. (Btw like the .ie!)
it’s my husbands phone, 12mini, 11 months old! Not the first time it’s frozen but always been able to slide off and restart.
By chance after finishing call, decided to give one last try…it worked!
regardless will still keep the appointment, as feel possibly deeper issues based on ‘freezing frequency’. Have 11 myself, been an apple user since inception. No issues.
