Hello,
after updating my iPhone 11 Pro to iOS 15.6, the front amera has stopped working, I am unable to use FaceTime, WhatsApp or messenger for video calls.
Face id is working
Any ideas on a fix or is it a known issue?

If you haven't already, update your apps as that can help with issues and especially since you just updated the iOS: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support
If that doesn't help with your front camera, try these steps next: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working - Apple Support
If you're still having an issue with your front camera, let us know what happens when you try to use it. Is the preview window black, does an alert appear, or something else. Keep us posted.

Same here… the normal Camera (standard widewinkel) is not working ans Flashligt too… with the other cameras flash is working… apple store today Cant find the issue they told me to change the Camera but this also didnt worked out…. So i got my iphone back with the Same error and they had no answer for the issue… really sad….
Mine also doesn’t work now. My flashlight also stopped working.
