Quicktime Video Saving Error

I had recorded a screen capture video in Quicktime, subsequently I had opened the saved video and trimmed the video on both ends and saved the changed video with the original file name and replaced the original file with the edited video. The was an error that Quicktime does not support this file and I when I searched for my original file that was also missing.

However I have the edited video file still open as untitled file but I am not able to save it....

Can someone help me with the same please

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Tried exporting without much success...the file is still open though and I am able to play it end to end, just that I am not able to save it or export it.

When I export it, I get "Quicktime player cannot open movie" error message....

Hey sriramdp,

Have you tried saving it to a different folder? You might try Desktop or the Documents folder if you haven't already. This will help in narrowing the issue down if not outright resolving it.

Thank you ryane77, yes I have tried to save it in a different folder without much luck.
