Quicktime Video Saving Error

I had recorded a screen capture video in Quicktime, subsequently I had opened the saved video and trimmed the video on both ends and saved the changed video with the original file name and replaced the original file with the edited video. The was an error that Quicktime does not support this file and I when I searched for my original file that was also missing.

However I have the edited video file still open as untitled file but I am not able to save it....

Can someone help me with the same please

Greetings sriramdp,

It sounds like you are having issues saving a QuickTime file. We know how important this is for you, and you’re in the right place to find a resolution. Have you tried exporting the file to another format? You may be able to save it that way. If not, it is possible that it may be lost.

Here's a resource and steps that can help:

Export movies to other file formats and resolutions using QuickTime Player on Mac - Apple Support

Take care!
