Mac Studio Magic keyboard battery level shows 0% charge, but is still functioning plugged in or not. It is plugged to one of the rear Lightening ports. I have tried the front port on the Studio but that does not increase the level of charge above 0%.
And yes the slider of the Magic keyboard is in the On position.
Any ideas?

It may very well show 0% if you depleted the battery on it, and will take some time to charge before it comes out of zero zone. Personally, I recharge mine when it dips into the 30 - 50 % charge remaining. Is this a lightning to USB-A, or Lightning to USB-C cable and plugged directly into the Mac, or into an Apple 20W USB-C, or 5W USB-A wall charger?
Restarting, as dialabrain, suggested did the trick. But it is a USB-C cable that came with Studio and all is good
