I have an Apple Keyboard Model# A1644. It works fine when plugged in, but when I unplug it and go wireless it seems to go 100% dead. Bluetooth is on. When keyboard is plugged in it says connected and fully charged. However when I unplug it it seems to lose all power and computer keeps searching for it. When it is unplugged I will press the caps button but the little green light does not appear until I plug it back in and it will function normally.
I'm having the same issue. My keyboard connects then immediately disconnects and doesn't show a power bar in the settings. When I plug it in to a port, it connects and shows battery at 100% but still will not stay connected via bluetooth. I'm betting maybe a software update changed something. I have the A1644 keyboard.
