I am using Numbers version 12.1 on my iMac and want to change the number of decimal places on all the sheets in my spread sheet simultaneously, can I do this please?

NO. you can select each table then set the formatting. or you can select cell ranges, by not a sheet. On a a sheet, you can select several tables, then set the formatting

It would seem that I cannot change anything on several pages at once as I used to on Excel. I assume you have to think ahead with numbers and make sure you have everything set up ahead of duplicating any of the sheets, or as in my case creating a full years workbook at a time? Thank you anyway.

HI John,
It's always good to look ahead before going ahead when working with new software.
Numbers is not an MS Excel clone, and there is plenty of evidence that cloning Excel was not a design goal for the development team.
You will find several differences between the two applications as you become more familiar with Numbers.
