When I search for places nearby in Apple Maps, it shows places that are states away.

So I usually use Apple Maps but lately I’ve been having to use google because anyway I search for anything nearby it shows locations that are literally states away. Anyone know how to fix this? All my location services for the app are on and it knows where I am but for some reason it’s only giving results for places that are in other states.

Try deleting and reinstalling Maps. Press and hold the icon until the context menu comes up, then click the X, then "Delete App". You can then redownload it from the App Store.
