I used Move to IOS app to transfer my text messages from my Android to my Iphone but only some of my text messages transferred and the ones that did transfer only contained what I typed not what was sent to me within the same text thread by the other person. Also, all of my group texts are missing

At the bottom it'll note the following:
You might find that only some content transferred and your iOS device ran out of space, or your iOS device might appear full even though the transfer didn't finish. If so, erase your iOS device and start the transfer again. Make sure that your Android content doesn't exceed the available space on your iOS device.
Be sure to check your iPhone's storage at Settings > General > iPhone storage, and see if it being full is the reason not everything moved over. If not, you may need to proceed with erasing and starting over as the page suggests.

Hi Eric: Thank you for responding. I have sufficient memory on my new phone. I have reset the iPhone and tried the Move to Ios App 3 times and still not all the messages are being transferred and the ones that are transferred only contain what I typed not what the other person(s) or persons typed. Also, my transfer was not interrupted by a call etc as I turned off my mobile data.
Please help!! I need to transfer my text messages or I need to return my iPhone and stick with the Android.
I had the same issue but going from an android service provider to an I-phone service provider. I contacted the phone service I was transferring from and they told me if I transferred my service to another provider I would not be able to keep the same phone number and that was probably the reason my messages were not being transferred, even after they gave me a transfer pin ID. So either keep their service or lose the phone number I've had for 7 years.
