I received this text message, but I've never used or signed up to Apple Wallet as far as I know. Is this genuine? I don't want to click on the link in case it's a scan.

This is likely to be a scam message, I read about it in the newspaper a while back. Don't click any link in the message!

I sent the text to my email acct so I could hover over the link, and it was pointing to the site it claimed.
I'm just not sure I've ever had an apple wallet acct.

You can take a screenshot of the sms for example. Even if you have had an apple wallet, this message is known to be a potential scam
