I have noticed this morning there is something new in my menu bar. I have no idea what it is and didn't (consciously) add it.
It is not an item in in Dock & Menu Bar in System Preferences, so I can't turn it off.
How do I discover what it is and get rid of it?

If important, you could try a safe boot, which can sometimes clear up such things.

Thank-you very much for identifying what this is. I'd still like to turn it off, as I don't need it, but have searched through appropriate system preference panes and can't find where to do so. I'm happier knowing what it is though.

It was unchecked when I got there, so I tried checking it, restarting, unchecking it, restarting. It just won't go! I'm seeing more of the accessibility features than I ever have before.
Looks like an extension or add-on to me.
Have you tried one of the options to see what happens? That might bring up a panel you can further investigate.
It appears to be some piece of Third Party Software related to Mouse Controlling Software
What mouse is being used by Manufacturers Name.
I've selected each of the drop down options from the menu bar and each one just changes the icon in the menu bar to the icon alongside the dropdown option.
I'm using an Apple Trackpad and occasionally an Apple Magic Mouse
