Why did my iPhone backup on my Mac take so long?

I backed up my iPhone to my Mac for the first time after always using iCloud in the past. I did an encrypted backup. The backup took about four hours to finish. My phone takes less than a minute to backup to iCloud. Any ideas why it took so long? I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and I backed it up to my 2017 iMac 4k running Monterey 12.4. My hard drive is a 1TB fusion drive. 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5. My phone storage says I'm using 63.4 GB.

1 - Fusion Drives are slow at best even if the drive has the 7200 RPM variety and especially on Big Sur and or Monterey

2 - Depending on what Other Tasks were running at the time the iPhone was working on the iPhone Backup. The more Tasks running at the same time as the iPhone backup ws happening - the less Resources it had for the iPhone Backup

3 - Depending on the Empty Space Available on the Internal Drive of the Fusion Drive. The less available Empty Space the more time it has to search and write the data from the iPone

4 - Some Third Party Software running that interferes with the Normal Operations of the computer

5 - Encrypted iPhone Backup takes a little more time especially if factoring in the points above

6 - USB Hubs , powered or not, in Monterey have been know to problematic in Monterey
