While playing music, when i press the off button or the on button, the audio cuts off for a second, as if its glitching. this started only after i upgraded to iOS 18 and i find it quite upsetting. since i fidget with my phone a lot, the screen turns on and off often.
its hard to listen to music this way. are there any solutions?

I found a temporary workaround while Apple works on fixing this.
go into settings -> accessibility -> vocal shortcuts and toggle it off. This should fix this issue for the time being.
