My Apple Watch not letting me pair

i got a second hand apple watch after resetting my apple id password while pairing, apple watch not letting me pair as icloud on it shows similar icloud as mine but yet not letting me pair with apple watch

Have whoever you got it from remove the activation lock from the watch.
