Apple music downloads disappeared

Recently I failed to renew my apple music subscription, so all of my music disappeared. After i renewed it, my collection reappeared, but the thing is that all my music (more than 2700 tracks) was downloaded on my iphone and after this accident all the tracks show as not downloaded. In settings-storage-music it says that my music still takes 37gb of storage but as “data and documents” instead of tracks. It’s very important for me to listen to my downloaded music and it would take too much time to download it back from the scratch

Hi sklmmfy,

If there's a lapse in time after your Apple Music subscription or it ends, downloaded content can be removed. The best way to redownload your content is to ensure Sync Library is turned on.

Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support

"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > Music.
  2. Turn on Sync Library. If you don't subscribe to Apple Music or iTunes Match, you won’t see an option to turn on Sync Library."

If you're still not seeing your content is downloaded, re-download it by navigating to Settings > Music, then turn on Automatic Downloads.

You can find those helpful steps and more information here: Add music to iPhone and listen offline - Apple Support
