Apple Music Lossless over Bluetooth

Hi,

I understand that lossless can't be played over bluetooth. The original lossless file will be compressed to AAC to then be streamed over bluetooth.

The Apple Music support page says that AAC files are streamed at 256kbps, but it does not mention at which bitrate it will convert lossless to AAC. If I play a lossless file on Apple Music over my bluetooth headphones, will it be compressed to AAC 256kbps or higher (320kbps?)

Debating between choosing Apple Music or Tidal. I know Tidal will be playing AAC 320kbps over bluetooth. I'll go for Apple Music if it can compress lossless files to AAC 320kbps, otherwise Tidal it will be.

Cheers.
