Locked Apple Watch not factory resetting

Hi , I found an Apple Watch Series 5 44mm at work. The owner never came back for it . I tried guessing the passcode and locked it . I tried the steps to erase the whole thing but it just bring me to the Lock Screen again after the circle loading screen. Can someone please help me with this problem so I can now use the Watch?

How can I unlock a previously locked Apple Watch? Some months ago I purchased an Apple Watch for the heart monitor function and after utilising it for intended purpose and thinking that I had in fact lost it not realising it was hidden in my house. I understand I must have locked it and then removed it from my device list having since found it forgetting that it was locked. I have sold it on marketplace only to be contacted yesterday after the purchaser gave it as a Christmas present to somebody and they’ve turned it on to find it. It is Locked. I would like to sort this out for him. I’m really hoping people are gonna tell me it’s possible and not sucks to be you because I would like it not to be suck to me in this particular instance. Apple watch Automatic lock Hi I brought used Apple watch but when i started to pair it i got message that watch is locked. I contacted previous owner and she disabled Automatic lock and delete watch from find my device. Is there any way to unlock watch without meeting again with previous owner.

You will not be able to use the Apple Watch because it was most likely linked to their Apple ID. You should report the Apple Watch as missing and try to find the owner.

You will not be able to use it,hand it in to the local police.
