Apple Support keeps denying my activation lock requests - My MacBook is a brick...

I decided to factory reset my 2019 Macbook Pro, but unknowingly got it into Activation Lock mode where it asked me to login to my iCloud account which I no longer have access to (both the email, and phone linked with it are no longer accessible).

After talking to support over the phone, they provided me with a link to send an Activation Lock removal request (found here: https://al-support.apple.com/#/getsupport). Seemed promising enough, so I filled it out. Since the purchase was 3 years+ ago, I wasn't able to find the original receipt, but I contacted Costco (store where I bought it from), and they sent a text invoice which I used as proof.

Sadly, it didn't have a serial number on it (and neither did the original receipt, by the way). Apple denied my case, so I went to Apple Store where the lady told me to go to Costco store and ask them for the serial number on the receipt. After going to Costco, the manager there has told me that they don't store serial numbers and the best thing he can do is write the serial number on the text invoice I had by hand.

So, based on this, is my MacBook basically a brick now? How can I go around this to get access to my laptop? I have university classes starting in less than two months, and I need to have a working laptop for that.

Thank you so much in advance!

I can prove that it's mine, and I keep attaching the official receipt given by Costco to me.

Obviously you can't. You may have a computer receipt but without the serial number how could you prove the receipt is for that specific computer? I recently bought a computer from COSTCO and they included the serial number on the original receipt.

Looks like the anti-theft process is working. If you can not prove the computer is legally yours Apple is taking the right action. If you could just ask that the computer be activated without proof of ownership, why would it not be different for any thief. All our computers would become more attractive to thieves. You can get the serial number on-line under your account if you can get to it...shouldn't be an issue.

you need your Apple ID to sign into these forums to post(?)
