Over the last couple of months, ads in games refuse to close. You can click the “go to” and it works to be redirected to the seller’s site or game download. But you cannot close the ad and return to the current game. You have to completely close the app and relaunch it. Happens on multiple games and both phone & iPad. Other family members are complaining too.

If it was one game or games all by one developer, I can see this as an appropriate action. However, it does not seem to be limited to one developer. It is something that an Apple update has caused across multiple developers’ apps.

It would still be up to the developer to make sure their app is compatible with an iOS update.
