Thunderbolt Connection to Display is Finicky

I received a Mac Studio Ultra in April and three Studio Displays with tilt- and height-adjustable stands in June. I connected the three displays with the 1 m Thunderbolt cables which came with the displays.

Every time I touch one of the cable connectors or I jiggle it slightly - either at the display end or at one of the four Thunderbolt ports at the rear of the computer, the corresponding display loses sync and, for a few seconds, the image goes black. Sometimes it remains black until I restart the computer.

Even a slight height adjustment of the displays produces this phenomenon.

If I connect the cables at the two Thunderbolt ports at the front of the computer the problem does not happen at the computer end, but it still happens at the display end.

Apple replaced the three Thunderbolt cables but the problem is virtually the same with the replacement cables.

I will contact Apple again to see what they say but, after I paid some CA $20,000 for this system, such problems are unacceptable in my opinion. I am terribly disappointed.

Has anyone ran into similar problems? Any other suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you.

Mac Studio, macOS 12.4
