My phone buzzes when I get a call. No ringtone comes through. When I answer I can not connect to the caller and the phone keeps buzzing

My iPhone SE 2020 doesn’t ring randomly My iPhone with ios 16.3.1 randomly stop ringing when receives a call. It happened sometimes that I’m looking at the phone when the call receive. The screen turns on, the ringtone tries to start but as long as a very short beep then the phone goes silence. It happen randomly, I mean with a same contact sometimes it rings and sometimes it doesn’t.

Have you tried turning the iPhone off and back on again? If you have and that doesn’t work it sounds like it might be a hardware issue, in that case you might want to call apple and book an appointment in your local apple store.

you can also try to wipe your iphone and restore it from a backup
