Ipad port continues breaking (?)
This is my 3rd ipad (within about 1 1/2 years) and the charging port has broken or become faulty every single time. I first used it normally as you would with any ipad (ie. using while charging, occasionally leaving it charging for periods of time ect.) and the port broke, not a problem, I was told it was a faulty model and it was replaced. 2nd time around I kept the ipad charging on its own, didn't use it at all while charging, it had its own charging station that was not bothered. Another faulty port within a few months. Went to the apple store (I had gone to a best buy recommended by apple previously) and was told the ports on the ipad pros were not very durable. I was given 500$ in trade-in value for the product, and promptly bought a new one.
Now we're here (with the newest model ipad) and i've been using it while plugged into an outlet, leaving it alone; standard things again. And i've noticed the ipad is beginning to stop responding to the charger. I stopped and questioned it a bit, but simply moved over to a new charger and the problem seemed to be solved. However, now the charger is unable to be used while charging, and creates a strange static noise if i attempt to use it.
I apologize for such a long post! id like to know if anyone had any ipad care tips or any idea what i'm doing wrong. I have apple care on this product (learned my lesson) but i'd like an opinion on if what's happening to it is an issue with the ipad, or am i abusing it somehow?
