Garageband

I have a MacBook Pro late 2011 and I just updated it to high Sierra 10.12.6 and I'm trying to download GarageBand, but it says that I need a newer version of Mac OS. Am I able to get an older version of GarageBand that compatible with high Sierra 10.12.6 and if so, how would I go about doing that?

Only if you had "purchased" GarageBand before. If so, it will be in your purchases. The current version on the app store requires Big Sur or higher, as you found out.
