Amazon Prime Video App not working on apple tv

My Amazon Prime video app is not working on my Apple TV. I have rebooted the router, rebooted the Apple TV, deleted and reinstalled the Prime App and it still says it cannot connect to the internet. All other TV apps are working fine.


Any suggestions?

The first step is to follow the previous Apple Recommended solutions for the instructions on the basics i.e. delete/reinstall.


If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the DNS settings on your router to something like 8.8.8.8 (GoogleDNS).


Once the DNS settings are changed on the router, download the Prime App again and it should bring you to the log in screen.
