Home Pod cannot access Apple Music

Since this morning, my Home Pod keeps responding with "I couldn’t find (music I asked for) in your Apple Music Library” when I try to use it.

I already reset the Home Pod and it is on the latest update. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to resolve this?

I am attempting to completely remove the device from the Home app and re-add it... I'll let you know if that resolves it.... Just out of curiosity, what wireless router do you have?

So completely removing it from my house and adding it back fixed the issue for me. I did update to the latest OS prior to this issue occuring.

I also might have been able to just sign out of the primary user and back in... didn't try that.

I've found that if you have more then one apple Id on your phone (I.E. have another icloud email attached to your settings) when you setup the homepod with the newest OS 15, it has confusion on which ID to use.

I was able to setup the homepod

Go into the home app and into the settings of the home pod

Sign out of the apple music account

Remove the icloud email account

Sign back into the apple music account on the Home app

This fixed Apple music for me where a reset didn't.

Hope this helps!
