deleting photos
I have an iPhone 6S. How can I keep a photo in an album but delete it from the main library?

you cannot. All photos will always display in the library

That's a shame - didn't want certain medical photos to be generally visible so thought I could "hide" them in a folder. Maybe Apple could think about that.

Actually, that you can do. Long press on a photo. Tap on share (lower left box with arrow). Select “hide.”
those items are laced into your hidden album.
