charging iPhone advice please

i just bought a new (to me) iPhone 8. it came with a 5W charging block. i also have 6 year old iPad mini 2 that was delivered with a 10W charging block. i know that it is safe to use the 10W charging block with the iPhone. but i am wondering if i use the 10W charger with the iPhone, will it cause undue "wear and tear" on the iPhone's battery.

No. It's fine. The phone will only draw the power it needs.
