Activation lock

Hi sir, Hope you are doing well . i got my apple watch se and i sold it to my cousin before like a 1month and he passed away before 7days and the watch linked to his icloud and his phone also locked . now i want to connect the watch again to my phone but i can’t , i got pictures for the watch when its locked and before i give it to him when its mine , So there is any way to unlocked or that’s it i have to throw it away !?
