I have recently bought a new MacBook Air. I cannot scroll my incoming mail. How do I correct this so that I can scroll my mail

Try using 2 fingers on the trackpad.

Mail preferences screen size can't be modified; green button missing The green button is missing from the Preferences screen, so I have a very wide screen which can't be modified in size. OS 12.7. This is not a new problem.

search bar on apple mail on MacBook not there i have never had a search bar on my MacBook . Why ? When i go to filter and do all the things im told to do like dragging the search bar in to the layout and clicking on icon and text it still doesn't appear . When i use customize tool bar the search is there but still doesn't appear on my mail.
