iOS stubbornly treats numeric strings as phone numbers to dial

I want to copy/paste Leonard Peltier's US bureau of prison number, 89637-132, without triggering the phone dial feature.

iOS always prepends "tel:" to the numbers before paste.

May I request an enhancement to iOS 15 or 16 to let me that off?
