still i can't update my iphone 11 through iTunes error 4000 i already downloaded the update to laptop but can't install it to my phone and also i always can't check for updates through my iphone 11 since i bought it so i used to update it through the ITunes using my laptop windows 10
the last version i got through iTunes is 15.3.1
See If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. If you're trying to update using iTunes try over the air instead, or vice versa.
Note if you're getting a -4000 error when updating from iTunes you need to remove your device passcode, update, then enable again afterwards.

Hi,
That's not an issue I've come across before. You could try the all purpose method of backing up your device, restoring to factory settings, and then restoring your backup. I'd recommend backing up to both iTunes and iCloud before wiping the device so you have options if one of the backups won't restore or gets updated in error.

but i need to ask about something when i always try to check for new updates through my iphone it never works and always give me this message "unable to check for update" an error occurred while checking for a software update.
so there's any solution for that ? as i never been able to check for update,download or install it through my phone since i bought it ....
