Sound of of sync with video

I skipped the opening credit on Ted Lasso and now the sound is out of sync with my video. By a lot. I restarted everything and waited overnight to try again. I am using Apple TV+ through a Roku device.

Video loses sync with audio I used to watch videos via iTunes Homeshare and AppleTV but for some reason when watching a movie the audio starts popping and clicking and then goes out of sync. Eventually all audio stops and sometimes the movie stops too. How can we fix the issue? I've tried every Google search recommendation with no luck. (Resetting AppleTV, using the Audio-Sync correction, updating iTunes, etc... but nothing works)

Audio not syncing I bought a brand new AppleTV 4K 2 days ago. Set it up with my Denon receiver and 4K TV using Dolbyvision 4k as video and turned matching off as people have recommended that. Everything worked great for 2 days. Today audio syncing is out of whack, which is ridiculously annoying. It doesn’t sync on any show, whether AppleTV+, Disney+ or Netflix. I restarted the AppleTV. No change. I changed video settings all the way down to 1080p HD. Restarted. No change. I changed settings to 720p. No change. My AppleTV is hard wired with cat5 Ethernet cable to 1Gb fiber Internet. I have a new high end 8k HDMI cable. What gives? What’s the secret to getting audio to sync consistently?

Hey bwayjoey,

Does this happen with any other episodes of Ted Lasso, or just one episode?

Does the same issue happen with any other shows on Apple TV+?

Are you able to test another streaming app on your Roku to see if the same issue occurs there?

Actually, I Googled and it turned out to be a sound setting on my Roku stick. Thank you for your reply!
