How do you restore data from a Mac that no longer powers up? The Migration assistant can't find it. So I am looking to use my iCloud Time Machine backup from the old machine. Thanks for your help.

Is it old enough that you may have the installation disc ? Two of mine had directions included on how to power up … put the disc in , then hold the option key with power button …
