Greetings atesler190,

Congratulations on your new Mac! Moving your files to a new Mac can be very simple.

You mentioned that you're not seeing a traditional USB port on your new Mac. Sounds like your new Mac may have the new USB-C ports. Check out this article for help identifying the ports on your new Mac: Identify the ports on your Mac - Apple Support.

If you have your Time Machine on an external hard drive, you'll need a USB-C to USB adapter: About the Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple Support.

Once you have everything connected, check out the following support article: Restore your Mac from a backup - Apple Support.

Enjoy your weekend.
