I cannot connect to the internet on my Macbook Air. The computer is connected to the network, and two other Macs in my house are on the same network and can connect to the internet. Just this one cannot. Catalina OS running on all computers (they're old,).
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi - Apple Support offers some suggestions, but start with the basics first: power down your router and (assuming it is a separate device) your cable modem. Unplug their power cords and wait a moment. Then, plug them in again and let them restart.
While you wait, you might as well restart your Macs.
I've looked in the network settings in system preferences and everything looks as it should. I ran "wireless diagnostics" which generated a report which I cannot decipher, but didn't obviously say, "something's wrong". I've tried restarting the router (but the router is working perfectly well with the other computers_.....
Powering down everything the way you did before should have accomplished the same thing, but as you wrote, go figure.
A network technician once had me physically disconnect the cable from the cable modem in addition to powering it down. That seemed like voodoo to me but I did it anyway.

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports WiFi related error(CNW001, CNW003 to CNW008).

Tried that, no change. What's odd is how there are no problems connecting on any other Macs in the household.
What did the Wireless Diagnostics Summary page (sample below) report?
We had a power outage for several hours and when the power came back on, the affected Mac could connect perfectly to the internet. Go figure.
