BOSE QC35II not connecting via Bluetooth to mini Mac since today

I've a mini Mac with Monterey 12.1. Till last week I was able to use my BOSE QC35II headphones via Bluetooth without a hinge. I also use it with my Android phone and my windows pc.


Last week I started experiencing some problems with the Bluetooth connection to my headphones. Today macOS doesn't recognise/see my BOSE headphones. They still work with my Android phone and Win pc.


Is anyone experiencing similar problems?

the following steps did the trick

Before resetting the SMC, try these steps:

  • Shut down your Mac.
  • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, then release the button.
  • Wait a few seconds, then press the power button to turn on your Mac.
