I didn't use my iPad mini for 4 years now. When I took it again this year, it doesn't work anymore. It doesn't show anything on the screen, even if I charge it, restart or turn it on, nothing happens. Its like it's completely dead. How do I fix it?

Lithium Batteries, like all batteries, are a consumable product and do not last forever. This aging is amplified when not charged for long periods of time.
Your best bet would be to contact Apple for a replacement battery.

It might just be the battery. After that much time the battery might just be shot. Taking it to a repair shop where they can run more diagnostics will probably help you identify the issue, but even a new battery is probably less expensive than a new one.
