Music on HomePod
Do you now have to have a subscription to Apple Music to ask HomePod to play music I have purchased?

Siri on HomePod should be able to call up your unhidden purchase history, but for best results you would have a subscription to Apple Music. This would let you play anything in your iCloud Music Library, including your personal playlists, along with anything else that has been released to the Apple Music catalog.
