You are correct. You are not going to be able to update your iPad Mini 2 beyond iOS version 12.5.5. This is due to the hardware limitations within your iPad which prevent newer iOS versions from running efficiently.

So what solution are you offering,? I have purchased this iPad from new and it is in perfect working order, I don’t see why I should have to purchase another iPad but am currently constrained by the limitations of your software updates.
