No search and browsing Apple Music on imac and monterey

I have an active Apple Music subscription. I have an imac (Monterey). I can search just Radio and I cannot search or browse Apple Music. It does not appear at all (neither at seach nor on the left side under Radio). I do not have this problem on macbook pro with monterey. The set-up on both machines is the same.

Cannot find my radio station in apple music since update to "monterey" I updated my imac from "Mojave" to "Monterey". I've been searching apple music for my beloved Internet radio station "Radio Paradise" for 30 minutes now. Unfortunately not to be found. All possible stations can be found under radio, but not the station I was looking for. The search is made more difficult because they are all represented with logos. Under itunes in "mojave" I had a drop-down list under which I got radio stations listed by category. Unfortunately I can't find that in apple music, also no search function ... Once again apple (or its developers) shows that they are unfortunately failing to meet the needs of the user. Why do you make it so difficult for him to find his way around after every update?

Apple Music Will not search My Library I recently upgraded to Monterey and when I go to the search bar in Music, all it does is pull up music from Apple Music.. It will not search my Personal Library. I have read that others have an option at the top right to select where they want to search, But nothing pops up for me. When I go into preferences the 4 tabs available are GENERAL / PLAYBACK / FILES / ADVANCED and there is nothing in there related to this issue. I have access to all my music and voice memos, but there is no way for me to search for a specific song or artist etc.

Searching Radio on iMac It's been a while since I've used Apple Music to play much more than music I own, because it seems Apple is pushing its non-hardware business toward rented content. Still, I figured it might still be a good alternative to listening to streaming stations through browsers, or proprietary apps. However, when I search for a local station on Music, I get "not found in your library." The only instructions I find on line are to use Apple Radio. Under no circumstances am I spending another $10 a month on yet another subscription. Is there any way to use Music to listen to streaming services without paying Apple for otherwise free content?

Try holding down option+cmd as you launch Music to open it in safe mode. This may help with odd errors in the library. I take it you are signed into your Apple ID on the iMac, that your computer is authorized to your Apple ID, and you have turned on Sync Library under Music > Preferences > General > Library.
