Can't add a track from Apple Music if I have an unmatched version of the track in my library

I have quite a few unmatched tracks ... that should have matched easily (imho). Because they are unmatched ... I do not get the AM lyrics. So I try to add the track to my library and it just hangs (the '+' just spins forever). This seems to happen with any track like this. It's as if it doesn't want to add it a second time ... but if that's the case, why not match it in the first place?

If a track has already been added and uploaded you won’t be able to add same version again. I suggest that you delete the existing version then readd. I might match this time but there is no guarantee that is will happen. (Converting to another format or re ripping the original CD may give different results.)

If you don’t get a match, I suggest that you delete and download the Apple Music version if available.
