Having trouble adding tracks from Apple Music to library

I have been having this issue for 6 months plus. Click to '+' to add a track to library... it spins like it is adding then goes back to '+' as if it has not added. I can do this over and over and the same thing happens. Sometimes when I check the library ... it's there... sometimes not. If it is ... I return to the album in Apple Music and it shows as added. Problem is ... it always looks like it has not been added initially.
