Word not working after Mac update to Monterey 12.1
What do I do if Word is no longer on Mac after update to Monterey 12.1?

Maybe your version of Office is an old 32 bit version. If so, 32 bit apps do not work on Catilina or newer 64 bit operating systems. You will have to upgrade your version of Office.
