Can I recover deleted txt

If you sync messages to iCloud you cannot recover deleted messages. (Settings/[your name]/iCloud - Messages). If you don’t, and you have a backup that was made before the text was deleted, you can restore that backup to your phone. This will overwrite everything on the phone, not just the deleted text.
