Monterey Upgrade :-( ethernet no longer working :-( HELP......

I was able to connect my MACpro 2019 to the internet via an ethernet cable and WiFi. I just upgraded to OS Monterey version 12.0.1. I can no longer connect via ethernet. Wifi only. What happened? WiFi is slow and want to use ethernet hardwire.

Mac Pro 42 lb silver tower?


Or MacBook Pro Notebook computer, which does not have a built-in Ethernet port. if using an adapter, which one? and connected how? mention every Dock, adapter, and cable.
