Blocking a sender on iphone

I am constantly getting txt messages that are spam. They are all to George

There seems to be no way to stop these.

Blocking the phone number doesn't help

Spam Text Messages (iPhone XR) Is there an effective way to block spam text messages. I have message filtering turned on, but it's only effective about 50% of the time. Mostly they are from phone numbers, but sometimes they are coming from some weird email address. It seems like I'm blocking half a dozen (or more) numbers every day. And is there someone to report them?

Apple doesn't text you nor control who does text you. Texts come via your cellular provider. We ALL get spam messages. If you want to complain to someone, complain to the service provider texts come via.
