how do I upgrade an iMac (late 2013) to Catalina?
I believe my iMac is eligible to upgrade the OS from High Sierra to Catalina. After I search for Software updates, I do not receive the Catalina option.

- View: Second line-down
- See if your Model is Shown Here: macOS Catalina is Compatible with these Computers - Apple Support
If it is not shown, then it just cannot be installed.
