iMac software version upgrade

Need to upgrade macOS High Sierra v10.13.6 to a higher version to load new software; is there a version higher than V10.13.6 (High Sierra); need V14.X( for iMac (21.5-inch Late 2012) system; please help

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on Mojave or Catalina.
