iMac 24 2009 just started denying access to my own website

I have an old 2009 iMc 24 that has been running fine other than a new hard drive a few years ago. Just started denying access to my own website, which opens fine on my newer MacBook. The message I get is:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from (my website) (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn moreNET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

My OS is:

System Software Overview:

System Version: OS X 10.11.6 (15G22010)

Kernel Version: Darwin 15.6.0

Is this maybe a compatibility issue?

Any advice is appreciated

This is caused by an expired system certificate. Switch to Firefox, or choose Utilities from the Finder's Go menu, open the Script Editor, and run:

do shell script "curl -k https://letsencrypt.org/certs/isrgrootx1.der > ~/Downloads/isrgrootx1.der"

Double-click the downloaded certificate.
