Synching iCloud Calendar with Mac Calendar

I have calendars on iCloud and iPhone that synch perfectly, but they don't seem to communicate with the calendar on Mac (OS: Big Sur). I think that they are seeing different calendars but cannot get to the next step. Would be grateful if anyone could let me know how to find on iCloud all the calendars I am currently having on Mac. Thank you.

Try going to System Preferences/iCloud (Apple ID for Catalina or later) and stop Calendar syncing by unchecking the box. Wait a couple of minutes, then check syncing. Allow time for the sync to complete. The photos sync is extremely slow. It could take several days or more for the photos to sync..

Last resort  - have you tried signing out of iCloud, restarting, and then sign back in?
